Campus Design Review Committee

The Campus Design Review Committee advises the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on the design of new buildings, major additions, and major landscape projects to ensure that new architecture, landscapes, and urban design features on the university’s Ann Arbor campuses are appropriate to context and aligned with institutional values and priorities.

The DRC aims to promote and elevate design excellence as a pathway to achieving the strategic goals of the university in discovery and innovation, recruitment and retention, education and community-building.

The DRC draws on the principles articulated in Look to Michigan and Campus Plan 2050 in providing project-specific guidance that takes into consideration the distinctive needs and potentials of individual projects.
